Below is a summary of recent Genesys Cloud announcements.
New Features
• Knowledge portal filtering by labels – Knowledge portals can now filter articles by label, making it easier to organise and reuse knowledge content across multiple portals.
• Outbound campaign diagnostics improvements – Administrators can view improved health and performance information for outbound voice campaigns to help identify issues faster.
Security & Platform Improvements
• Administrator MFA requirement – Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is being enforced for administrator logins where SSO is not used, improving account security.
• General platform updates – Ongoing stability, performance, and security enhancements have been applied across the platform.
Upcoming Changes
• OAuth Token Implicit Grant deprecation – The Token Implicit Grant option for OAuth clients will be deprecated. Secure alternatives such as PKCE should be used.
• Text-to-Speech voice changes (5 Aug 2026) – Native support for some Google and Microsoft TTS voices will be retired. Organisations should plan migration to supported alternatives where applicable.
